PNP chief Bato: 2 NBI civilian agents involved in Jee Ick Joo kidnap-slay
At least two National Bureau of Investigation civilian agents were allegedly involved in the abduction and killing of South Korean Jee Ick Joo, Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa said Tuesday.
He said Jerry was a driver of an NBI director and was seen in one of the closed circuit television footage with SPO3 Ricky Sta. Isabel when the latter was withdrawing money from an ATM in Greenhills.
Dela Rosa added that aside from the two NBI agents, there were groups who were checking on the job of the police officers named in the abduction and killing of Jee.
Hindi niya ma-identify kasi iba-ibang sasakyan, sumusulpot lang daw, parang backup nila,” he said.
Asked if he thinks a syndicate was involved in Jee’s case, the PNP chief said: “Malaking grupo ito. — RSJ, GMA News
